Spent 3 days and two nights in the area for which this was an ideal base to explore the Scottish Highlands. Equally good

Pros: A perfect location near the shores of Loch Ness from where to tour the Highlands. Accessible toilet and shower for disabled. Our lodge wouldn’t have been ideal for a wheelchair user but they do have a larger 2-bedroom lodge which plenty of space, lowered appliances etc, for wheelchair users.

Cons: A little out of the way, but that was also a benefit in someways. Nice and quiet. Be aware that Drumnadrochit - some small shops, bars restaurants etc. - is a 10 min drive away. Inverness, about 40 mins. Wasn’t really a dislike (for us anyway) but worth being mindful of.

Excellent

Pros: Really nice place to stay on with a family with nice area around . The owners are really friendly, really good people . The came to say hello to us first thing in the morning on our first day , they went through all the attractions we around and places we can see . I really enjoyed and recommended! We will definitely come back there one day 🤩

Cons: We couldn’t find the lodge because unfortunately luck of lightning outside so I think this could be think of ☺️ other that all was perfect ! 😍

Absolutely perfect - highly, HIGHLY recommend!

Pros: I loved everything about the lodge we stayed in. It was so comfortable, the location was perfect (my criteria was close to Loch Ness, in particular Urquhart Castle), and it’s dog friendly. An added bonus for me as a huge animal lover was that the lodges are located on a farm and we got to walk past fields of sheep and cows while walking the dog. The owners are lovely and very communicative - honestly I can’t recommend these lodges enough. I hope we will be able to come back soon!
