Nr. 1 B\u0026B in Balmoral

Pros: The owner and his wife are both committed and friendly inn keepers with great conversation both about their experiences and the town of Ballater,/ Balmoral itself. Breakfast made individually and tastefully. Decor likewise very tasteful and in excellent /brand new condition. Ballater in the winter snow is magical place - picturesque views from our bedroom and breakfast table.

Cons: There is nothing that could have been better, except to have spent more time in this B\u0026B.

The perfect stay

Pros: Stunning property with fantastic friendly owners. Completely personal, great breakfast and an overall lovely vibe.

Cons: Toilet is a touch noisy so you worry about other guests hearing the flush.

Cons: Bathroom was separate, but we knew this before we Rrived and at time of booking. Was just for us so not realky a big negative.

Loved Ballater and loved St Andrews House

Pros: Very big and comfortable bedroom with good facilities. Massive and comfortable bed. The apartment and in fact the whole building was beautifully and tastefully furnished. Everywhere was very clean. Great breakfast. Tony and Natalie were very welcoming and helpful. Just a short walk (5-10 minutes) from the centre of Ballater.

Fabulous we will be back!! Thank you to our hosts for making our stay memorable!!

Pros: The house is impeccably done, beautifully decorated with comfortable furnishings. Breakfast was fabulous and our hosts were wonderful as they were both informative and gracious in sharing information about the area;. A highlight was the comfort and well appointment of our room. The bed was the most comfortable of any of our stays.

Home from home, exceptional service and fantastic hosts!

Pros: We had such a warm welcome as we stepped through the door - Tony and Natalia were so personable, happy and helpful - and made us feel like home from home. The house is decorated beautifully, with each room clean and cosy. We hadn’t booked a table for dinner in the local town, yet Tony called and made us a reservation. And breakfast in the morning was so tasty, catering to preferences. Highly recommended !

Cons: Nothing! Arriving in the dark, the sign was a little small to know which driveway to go down, but once you saw it, it was easy.

A Very Memorable Stay

Pros: A very special and memorable stay at a beautiful house. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Tony and Natali were perfect hosts, and nothing was too much trouble. Lots of good advice for experiencing the Scottish Highlands. Breakfast was excellent and produce served was top quality!
